Dr. Shushan Jacob, M.D. is board-Certified by the American Board of Surgery and subspecialty-certified in Hand Surgery.
She completed her Hand and Wrist ACGME Fellowship training at the renowned Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery at the University of Louisville in addition to an AO Fellowship in Hand and Wrist Surgery at the Philadelphia Hand Center at Thomas Jefferson University. Her residency training was completed at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia following her graduation from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University- Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai.
Following her Fellowship training, she has been in academic practice as Assistant Professor of Hand Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center followed by private practice as a Hand Surgeon with Orthopedic Medicine Specialists associated with Texas Health Resources, Arlington prior to establishing Alliance Hand and Wrist Surgery, PLLC.
She is a member of the American Society of Surgery of the Hand as well as a published author of book chapters and peer reviewed articles in the Hand and Wrist literature.
